Conservation and Education at the Heart

At AWA, conservation is a core mission. The sanctuary is dedicated to protecting endangered species such as the Mekong River Monster, Giant Barb, and Royal Turtle. Rescue efforts also extend to species like the Siamese Crocodiles and Red-Footed Tortoises. Visitors can witness these conservation initiatives firsthand, gaining insight into the efforts to preserve Cambodia’s unique wildlife.

Engaging Exhibits and Attractions

AWA features two distinct aquarium zones:

  • Freshwater Tank: Showcasing the wonders of the Mekong River and Tonle Sap Lake, this exhibit highlights Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater ecosystems.
  • Ocean Aquarium: A vibrant display of marine life, offering a glimpse into the diverse underwater habitats.

Beyond the aquariums, the Wildlife Animal Park is home to a variety of species, including Bengal tigers, otters, and crocodiles, all residing in naturalistic habitats.
