Dine With The Locals | Lunch or Dinner in a Khmer house near Wat Polanka (CLOSED)

Your host's house is a more modern house by local standards in Siem Reap, made of bricks and concrete, but still with Khmer style. She kept her garden, where she grows herbs and spices for the local food and where the dollar tree is located (ask her about it). Her helper is her mum, who also makes fried peanuts with sugar, kaffir lime, chili and salt and sells them.

• Beef Lok Lak - The Khmer classic with premium local beef, tomatoes and cucumbers, and the very special dip made from leman, pepper and salt.
• Fried fish from the Tonle Sap lake with tamarind sauce - While the fish comes fresh from the market, the sauce is home made, made of tamarind, soy sauce and Srey Much's secret ingredients.
• Sngor Mreah - Soup with bitter melon stuff with mixed pork, rice noodles on the side.
